Dear Families,
Grade 2's love sharing their 'rainbow' colored snacks and lunches! We know how important a variety of fruits, veggies, proteins, and such are to helping us do our very best each day! We loved Malik's beautiful pineapple pieces, Aahana's oranges, Sydney's raspberries and so many more beautiful snacks!
Thank you to Ibraheem for sharing some delicious birthday cookies at lunch today!
FYI
Poems: Ms. Heagy will be posting a page with student poems on blogger.

Our Learning:
Again... the bell went before we could share on blog. Ask your student about today's learning:
-Literacy: How do people remember those they have lost?
-Math: adding and subtracting using friendly numbers (breaking apart numbers); making codes!
-Social: Nunavut flag and symbols of the Arctic - Inuksuit.
For Homework:
What is an Inuksuk?
Bring in rocks to build your own symbolic creation using rock balancing techniques
