Dear Parents,

I sure am impressed with the artistic skills of the Grade 2s!  You won't BELIEVE how amazing their watercolor paintings turned out! We are so excited to show you at Student led Conferences next month.
I am also impressed with student self advocating and letting me know when they feel ready to switch reading levels, or even spelling levels!  Woo hoo! This is a major part of being in Grade 2- becoming a self directed learner.

As readers, we are working hard on fluency, volume, and reading with expression.
