We had a blast celebrating Valentine's Day today! Grade 2's were thrilled to pass out their carefully labelled valentines to one another. Thank you for the delicious treats we enjoyed while watching Despicable 3. We were challenged with a "Valentine's Mystery....." solving math puzzles and clues that would lead us to a hidden key. Congrats to Joey who unlocked the box and shared prizes with the class!
Enjoy the long weekend; Thursday and Friday is Teacher's Convention, and Monday is Family Day.
The spelling words will extend over to next week, and our finished poems should be ready to come home by the end of Tuesday to practice for Friday's Poetry Party.
